Founding story
Built to fix a broken industry.
Justworx was founded in South Africa in 2018 with a clear-eyed view of a broken industry. The global IoT sector had spent years promising billions of connected sensors across agriculture, industry and infrastructure — a vision that never materialised.
The company was built to identify and eliminate the precise reasons that vision stalled, and to construct the infrastructure to make it real. It has since relocated and restructured as a US-based LLC, headquartered in New York City.

Justworx operates on a deliberate build-first model, with parallels to Google's original approach to search infrastructure: invest heavily in the best possible platform, make it maximally accessible, and develop revenue models once scale is achieved.
Every device deployed extends AIR Network coverage and lowers the cost-per-node of the whole system — a compounding strategic advantage that grows with every deployment.
